TEAM PARENT LIAISON: Coach Riley and Coach Peralta
The 2015 SMHS Cross Country team practice started on Monday, 8/17/15. Weekday practices starts at 3:30pm and ends around 5:00pm. All interested athletes meet at Track Field after school. Health Clearance will be required with stamped approval for SMHS Health Dept. before you can begin practice.
Mandatory Sportsmanship Night at 6:30pm in the Main Gym on Tuesday, August 25th.

Dear Student Athletes and Parents,
Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year and thanks for being a part of our 2015 Cross Country season! Below are some of the following items you'll need to know prior to starting practice here at SMHS:
* You must have a current physical (and must be valid for one year through end of Cross Country season). The Health clearance must be available to Coaches online through the athlete student tracking system.
* You should have a sweatshirt & pants along with singlet and bottoms (nothing expensive or fancy) and also comfortable training shoes (comfortable but not expensive).
* STAY PROPERLY HYDRATED prior to coming to practice and bring water with you each day.
Please review all tabs under pulldown menu under X-Country. We highly recommend those of you who have text messaging options on your mobile phone to sign up for the "Cell Phone Text Notification". If you don't have a cell phone, please ask a team member to notify you when one is received. Otherwise, you can check back here at our website under X-Country's Home Page for Special Announcements.
We will provide uniforms to every team member but you have the option to purchase new ones if you choose to (go to Uniforms for details). Deposits will be required to ensure they are returned at the end of the season.
We have a very proud tradition of having good runners here @ SMHS and we are looking forward to working with both student/athletes and parents to insure that a good time is to be had by all.
